STEM is alive and well at Creeds! We have received a schoolwide grant from the Virginia Beach Education Foundation for developing and implementing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities into the instructional curriculum. This is not new to the third grade staff at Creeds. We have been working collaboratively for the past two years to bring STEM to life at Creeds in third grade. Our goal this year is to incorporate one STEM activity each month into our instructional plan. So far we're off to a great start! If you have a third grader at Creeds ask about our STEM activities!
This is an example of a STEM 3rd grade activity! This was our October STEM instructional activity.
